As the executive general secretary of the Organizing Committee, Magda Brito, timely declared to the press, more than 270 national and foreign papers will be presented from more than 14 countries, including Mexico, Spain, China, Argentina, Brazil, Canada and France.
He also announced the holding of 48 conferences, eight of them keynotes, on topics related to artificial intelligence, free software and digitization as an economic and social pillar.
One of the most important objectives of the meeting, he said, lies in the promotion of the national industry of computer applications and services and its capabilities, as well as the integration with non-state forms of management
For this edition, the development of nine events related to topics such as telecommunications, cybersecurity, the software industry, electronics, robotics and computational sciences is planned.
Among the scheduled meetings, the International Workshop on Information and Communication Technologies in the management and innovation of organizations stands out.
According to Clara Alonso, president of its scientific committee, this appointment will address three fundamental issues: digital transformation in entities, the safe use of technologies, as well as knowledge management and innovation in organizations.
The conferences will deal, among other aspects, with the role of the scientific and technological park in Havana and with motivation in the software industry, he added.
Likewise, the celebration of the X International Congress of technology, electronic commerce and digital content stands out, which will include presentations on computer security in commercial transactions, among other topics.
For her part, Ariadne Placencia, executive secretary of the exhibition fair, stated that its goals are the creation of strategic alliances, the exchange of experiences and the presentation of applications, solutions and services specific to this area.
Based fundamentally on the Fevexpo platform, it will also have a business round and a business forum attended by representatives of 33 exhibiting entities, including some of the new economic actors in the country, he said.
