Coronavirus: 913 new cases and four deaths

The Ministry of Public Health reported that this Sunday 913 cases of covid-19 and four deaths were detected this Sunday.

Of the 913 new cases, 469 are from Montevideo, 74 from Canelones, 57 from Maldonado, 51 from San José, 45 from Durazno, 34 from Cerro Largo, 33 from Florida, 32 from Lavalleja, 19 from Colonia, 18 from Tacuarembo, 15 from Paysandú, 14 from Salto, 14 from Soriano, 11 from Rivera, 9 from Treinta y Tres, 8 from Rocha, 6 from Artigas, 2 from Flores and 2 from Río Negro.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 5,888,873 tests have been processed and 875,313 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 857,919 have already recovered.

In addition, 4 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in our country. So far there are 7,138 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 10,256 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 48 of them are in critical care centers.
