With this Monday’s triumph, the Brazilian team maintained a 100% record in the competition and advanced to the second stage of the competition. Now the team led by coach Aleksandar Petrovic will return to action in the competition in July, still in the first phase, when they will face Venezuela and Colombia.
The individual highlight of the match was point guard Caio Pacheco, who scored 17 points and gave 10 assists. The winger Léo Meindl, with 16 points, and the pivot Mãozinha, with 13 points, also shone for the team.
