MIAMI, United States. – The Peruvian writer, journalist and presenter Jaime Bayly present his novel The coup plotters (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2026) on Saturday, May 16 at 6:00 pm at the main headquarters of the Hialeah Public Library system, the John F. Kennedy Library, according to a press release issued by Hialeah Public Libraries in collaboration with Spanish Publishers.

The work, titled The coup plottersis presented as a political novel inspired by real episodes in the recent history of Latin America. The plot focuses on the attempted coup d’état that occurred in Venezuela in 2002 against the then president Hugo Chavez and addresses the intrigues, conspiracies and tensions between the military, businessmen, politicians and international actors that marked these events, as detailed in the press release.
