The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, holds a meeting this Monday with members of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), just days before the National Popular Consultation will be held next Sunday, March 8, an electoral contest that allows the people to choose which projects will be prioritized for their community.
The meeting takes place at the headquarters of the Castillo San Antonio de la Amendment Foundation, in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state, also having as its axis the discussion of action of the 7 Transformations of the Plan of the Homeland.
People over 15 years of age who are part of the 5,336 communal circuits throughout the country will participate in the National Popular Consultation. The objective is that this electoral dynamic allows for concrete solutions to territorial problems, strengthening the monolithic unity at the different levels of government, from the local to the national.
Recently, the president in charge reported that 36,000 projects have been nominated from the grassroots, prioritizing those that are linked to the economic sphere and Human Cities.
