
The authorities are investigating the murder of two police officers that occurred in the Luis Hurtado Higuera sector of El Junquito, in the Libertador municipality of Caracas. The investigations are carried out by officials of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc).
It was learned that the officials, who were brothers, were attacked by gunfire. The authorities are investigating whether the crime is related to a subject with whom they had an argument before.
Police crime in El Junquito
Regarding the crime, it was learned that the uniformed officers were attacked with firearms. One of them died at the scene, while the other was taken to the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño hospital, where he was admitted without vital signs. Besides, A woman whose identity is unknown was injured in the incident.
The victims were identified as Jinson Rebolledo and Jota Rebolledo, both officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB). Jinson was assigned to the organization’s Robbery and Theft Division, while Jota was assigned to the Aquatic Spaces Division.
According to what was reported by El Pitazo, The attack occurred after the police had an argument with a subject nicknamed “El Coco.”
