Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this Sunday (1st) that the military offensive against Iran, started last Saturday (28)will be intensified.
“Our forces are advancing into the heart of Tehran with increasing intensity, and this will only intensify further in the coming days.”
The attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran have already left hundreds dead and injured. Among the victims, Iran’s Ministry of Education includes 153 girls killed and 95 injured in an aerial bombing of a school in Minab, in the south of the country.
In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced this Sunday the launch of an attack against Israeli territory and at least 27 American bases in the Middle East region.
Netanyahu acknowledged the human cost of the conflict for the Israeli population, and cited attacks against two cities in the country: Tel Aviv and Beit Shemesh.
Benjamin Netanyahu classified the moment as “painful days” and offered condolences to the families of the victims. Finally, he wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Fall of the regime
The Israeli politician used his account on the social network X to comment on the latest developments in the military campaign against the Persian country.
“I just came out of a meeting with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff and the head of the Mossad [Instituto de Inteligência e Operações Especiais de Israel]. I gave instructions for the continuation of the campaign”, published the Israeli leader.
The prime minister highlighted the death of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “Yesterday [28]we eliminated the dictator Khamenei. Together with him, we eliminated dozens of important figures from the oppressive regime.”
Military alliance with the USA
In a published video, the Israeli president says that he has mobilized the full power of the Israel Defense Forces, “like never before, to guarantee the country’s existence in the future.” Furthermore, he highlighted the partnership with the United States and its president, Donald Trump, whom he calls a friend.
“This combination of forces allows us to do what I have been hoping to do for 40 years: attack the terrorist regime head on. I promised, and we will deliver.”
