92% of the Miranda Peace Quadrants are active and repowered

From the Paseo de los Santos Inocentes in Barlovento, the Sectoral Vice President of Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello led the act of adaptation of the Peace Quadrants in the Barlovento axis, an act in which 28 patrols were delivered aimed at strengthening the functioning of the 106 Peace Quadrants active in the area.

In this way, the adequacy of the Peace Quadrants in Barlovento increases from 94 to 106, thus strengthening the territorial presence of this citizen protection system. Thus, with this expansion, the Miranda state reaches 433 active Peace Quadrants throughout its territory, consolidating a comprehensive deployment for the security and care of the Mirandino people.

“We already have 92% of the Miranda state covered and equipped,” he stated and explained that only 35 Peace Quadrants are missing in the municipalities of Chacao and El Hatillo. “Those mayors have a lot of money, they collect large amounts of money in taxes from companies and industries,” he said.

Cabello explained that for every two Peace Quadrants, one patrol and two motorcycles are established. In this way, 28 patrol units (trucks and sedan models for the urban area), 212 motorized units and 106 cell phones will be deployed in Barlovento.

Cabello highlighted that these units are totally new “zero kilometer”, he said and stressed that together with the associated equipment and implements, they are part of the structure of Popular Power, emphasizing that they are not organic to the mayor’s offices or the government. He assured that these trucks can be used to mobilize people on March 8, during the consultation process for community projects,” he said.

Cabello added that more than 700 patrols have been delivered throughout the national territory, as part of the adaptation of the Peace Quadrants, with the aim of promoting peace throughout Venezuela.

He highlighted the importance of fostering respect and trust in the security forces among young people. He asserted that police work must be carried out with proximity to the people so that citizens see a friend in each official and repudiated bad practices such as ragging. “Being a police officer is fashionable, it is necessary to feel proud of being an official,” he expressed.

Objective: keep the peace

For his part, the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the effort it makes to maintain the security and peace of Venezuelans.

He expressed that, with the activation of 106 peace quadrants distributed in the six municipalities that make up Barlovento; They seek to guarantee the presence of security agencies in each communal circuit.

“This policy that we began with force in 2025 under the premise of one quadrant per communal circuit, today materializes to protect our families,” he stated.

During the event, the complex panorama that the region faced between 2009 and 2017 was recalled, a period in which the opposition allowed the territory to be plunged into insecurity and control by criminal groups.

“The Government’s security policy has managed, through the perfect fusion of popular, military and police, to return peace and sovereignty to these lands,” said Serrano and expressed his recognition to President (E) Delcy Rodríguez and Vice President Diosdado Cabello Rondón, for their constant support to the Miranda state.
