The Government of Israel congratulated the Dominican Republic on the occasion of the commemoration of 182nd anniversary his National Independence.
The message was released on Friday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Sharren Haskelwho highlighted that his country values the “warm and growing diplomatic ties that both nations maintain.”
- “Happy National Day to the wonderful people of the Dominican Republic!” expressed the Israeli Foreign Minister, while wishing that the date would be marked by pride, celebration, success and prosperity.
Strong diplomatic relations
The diplomatic relations between the Dominican Republic and Israel were formally established in 1948 and, since then, they have been characterized by their solidity and cordiality.
The bilateral cooperation covers areas such as technical assistance—especially in agriculture and management of water through the program MASHAV—, as well as the commercial exchange and historical friendship between both peoples.
Strengthening collaboration
Currently, the two countries maintain embassies and continue strengthening your agenda of collaboration.
