During a deployment of a mixed police-military commission in the Tres Esquinas sector, Trujillo municipality, state of the same name, a member of the criminal gang founded by Álvaro Montilla (El Loro) was killed. Details of the procedure were aired on the Instagram account of the Trujillo state police.
The officials sighted the subject, who upon noticing the presence of the commission entered a home, taking a family group of hostages, under threats.
Once inside the home located in the Tres Esquinas sector, the subject unholstered a firearm and shot at the police officers, who proceeded to “make progressive and differentiated use of the weapons, protecting the integrity of the family and achieving legal intervention,” the report states.
The subject was identified as Morón J, who was an active member of the structured organized crime group El Loro and was wanted for several crimes, the most recent, a homicide that occurred in January in the Trujillo municipality. The man was transferred to the Central Hospital of Trujillo, where he died after admission.
At the time of the inspection of his belongings, elements of criminalistic interest were collected, such as a firearm, Pietro Beretta, 9 mm caliber, devastated serial numbers.
In another interaction of the police force, it is reported on the delivery of a vehicle unit destined for the Public Order and Citizen Security Brigade.
“The modernization and expansion of the fleet will not only allow a greater police presence on the streets, but will also facilitate the work of the agents, who will be able to move more quickly and efficiently,” Politrujillo reviews on his Instagram with a video of the vehicle.
