The agreement promotes a special financial support campaign that will begin on March 10 and will have a limited duration.
The initiative seeks to improve access to credit and facilitate the regularization of debts of municipal workers throughout the national territory, so that they can recover their entire salary.
The proposal contemplates exceptional conditions and differential benefits, designed to offer concrete, accessible and timely solutions. The BROU “thus aims to alleviate the financial situation of thousands of officials, providing tools that allow them to organize their economic commitments,” as indicated after the meeting.
This new agreement “adds to those recently signed with the Confederation of Organizations of State Officials (COFE) and the Association of Judicial Officials of Uruguay (AFJU), reaffirming the commitment of the state bank to the financial strengthening of Uruguayan workers.”
