He National Care System to Emergencies and Security 9-1-1 reaches the municipalities of Constanza and Jima AbajoLa Vega province, thus expanding coverage to 94% of the national territory.
With this addition, the System 9-1-1 is consolidated into one comprehensive network of attention that articulates the main response agencies, guaranteeing timely assistancecoordinated and efficient in emergency situations.
The Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Palizaleft put in operation he National Care System to Emergencies and highlighted the benefits that residents in both areas will receive.
A service expected
“This initiative responds to the priority of continuing to strengthen the State’s capacity to save livesimprove coordinated response to emergencies and raise standards of citizen security and pre-hospital care, especially in areas with high productive, agricultural and strategic value,” said Paliza.

He reaffirmed that the expansion approved for this first quarter of 2026 is part of a State vision aimed at bringing 9-1-1 to more communities throughout the country.
In Constanza and Jima Abajo the system 9-1-1 will have units of equipped ambulances for basic life support, police patrols, Fire Department units and a technological infrastructure that will allow efficient call management, geolocation of incidents and coordinated dispatch of resources from the Command Center and Control.
