Residents in the sector Villas Naco of kilometer 13 of the Duarte highway in Santo Domingo Oeste asked the authorities of the Metropolitan Transportation (MT) fulfill the promise of fixing the streetsafter they were affected by the construction of the Metro, which was inaugurated last Tuesday.
According to the local residents, they had been promised that after the installation of the Metro pipes and drains, close to the residential area, they would begin the repair of the streetswhich have been in terrible condition since construction began, a promise that has been unfulfilled.
They call on the director of the MT to pay attention to the claim of the municipalities of Villas Naco, since the metro is in operation, and they have not complied with the conditioning of the streets.
Its residents, organized in the Neighborhood Council, came out in protest against the authorities’ failure to fulfill their promise to improve the local streets, affected by the construction of the subway.
