Dead Friar and a brilliant carnival, highlighted by the Mayor
The Momo celebration in the city of Fraile Muerto stood out for the participation of guest artists, but fundamentally for the work of local groups.

Armonía, one of the Fraile Muerto groups, participated in the last parade along Aparicio Saravia Street in the city of Melo. “It’s playing at a high level. The other one, La Comparsita, stayed here. In reality, the three groups are doing very well: Mandrake, Armonía and La Comparsita. They performed at a high level and have already started working for the 2027 carnival, something we all dream of and want, which is to face this party with more time.” he stressed.
CONTINUE WITH THE WORKS
This Tuesday, the Mayor of Fraile Muerto received the Departmental Mayor to advance some paving works on Avenida de Toledo and Perimetral.
“We want to inaugurate this Avenue that turned out very well, we are just waiting for the bitumen, in the case of the Perimetral the same thing” Nauar said.
“We are also going to face the POA 2026, which consists of a plaza and Avenida Blanca Castro de Argenzio. Now the year is practically beginning” the ruler pointed out.
He also stated that work will be done on rural roads taking advantage of the good weather.

The Mayor announced that he will arrange a meeting with the President of OSE to find out what stage the sanitation work for the town is at.
