The ambassador of the Republic of India, Kishan Dan Dewal, confirmed its attendance at the third edition of the “Tourism and Attractions Samaná 2026” (TyA 2026) fair, which will be held from March 13 to 15 at Hacienda Samaná Bay, Hotel & Residences, in the province of Samaná.
The participation of the Indian diplomat strengthens the international profile of the event, which on this occasion is dedicated to the People’s Republic of China, consolidating itself as a strategic platform to promote the tourist, cultural and economic development of the Northeast region, promoting local talent and strengthening ties of international cooperation.
More than 40 local entrepreneurs and artisans will be part of this edition, exhibiting products, services and cultural expressions that highlight the identity and wealth of Samaná.
During the three days of the fair, visitors will be able to enjoy a diverse agenda that includes exclusive tourist offers, national and international conferences, business rounds, personalized advice, adventure and nature experiences, artistic and cultural activities, tastings of cigars, wines and products from the region, as well as the main gastronomic attraction: the largest seafood asopao with coconut in the world.
Likewise, TyA 2026 will offer real business opportunities, visibility and brand positioning, as well as strategic networking spaces with key actors in the tourism, commercial and cultural sectors.
The CEO of TyA 2026, Kelvin Faña, reported that the fair will have the participation of more than 60 companies that will use this platform to promote investment, business and the international projection of Dominican tourism, reaffirming Samaná as a world-class destination.
Faña highlighted that the event will include artistic and cultural presentations, exhibitions of products and services, gastronomic tastings and multiple surprises aimed at highlighting the identity and cultural wealth of the province.
“Tourism and Attractions Samaná 2026 seeks to strengthen the positioning of the Dominican Republic in the international tourism market, with a special focus on Samaná, one of the provinces with the greatest natural and cultural charm in the Caribbean,” he said.
The event will also serve as a bridge for cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, the guest of honor, and will be attended by Ambassador Chen Luning and a delegation of businessmen, with the aim of opening new opportunities for investment and collaboration in the tourism sector.
Finally, Kelvin Faña extended an invitation to businessmen, tourism professionals, authorities, entrepreneurs, local communities and visitors in general to be part of this experience.
“Tourism and Attractions 2026: For the love of the tourist development of Samaná promises to be a memorable day of innovation, culture, business and tradition,” he stated.
The fair is expected to receive more than 15,000 visitors, who will be able to discover the multiple opportunities that Samaná offers as a tourist and investment destination.
