Officials from the Investigations Division of Crimes Against Public Health arrested Neftalí Pérez Azócar (56), at the Seguros La Paz center, La California, Sucre municipality in the state of Miranda, for usurpation of functions as a doctor and illicit marketing of drugs.
Through extensive research work, it was learned that the detainee, by using quantum equipment, carried out diagnoses and prescribed treatments; Therefore, at the time of his capture, said device was seized. In coordination with the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (Ivic) and the Computer Expertise Division of the Cicpc, it was determined that the results of the exams were false.
Likewise, the investigations showed that, during the consultations, the subject issued medical prescriptions that did not treat the real pathologies of the patients who came to his office.
