The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, receives this Friday at the Miraflores Palace the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Ayman Hussein Al-Safadi.
The Jordanian diplomat, who also serves as vice prime minister of his nation, was previously received with honors by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil, in order to deepen a bilateral work agenda and ratify the friendship between both governments under the principles of sovereignty and self-determination.
During the meeting, both authorities are expected to review the progress of a diplomatic relationship that has more than 70 years of history, mainly in key sectors such as tourism, trade and air connectivity, taking into account the possibility of establishing a direct line to reduce export costs.
Also, Venezuela and Jordan will evaluate new agreements on diplomatic matters, with the aim of establishing an embassy of the Hashemite Nation in Caracas and thus advance the exemption of visas in service passports for mission officials.
