He College of Dentists of Venezuela (COV) activated a new digital platform aimed at centralizing the updating of data and the registration of new members throughout the country.
During a television interview, its president Pablo Quintero explained that the tool will allow dentists, technicians and dental hygienists to carry out their procedures remotely, through the official portal www.elcov.com.vewith the aim of reducing waiting times and simplifying processes that previously required in-person procedures.
“We are transforming bureaucracy into agility. This system is not just a database; it is the heart of an armored digital file that guarantees transparency and institutional support for each of our members,” said Quintero when explaining the operation of the new digital scheme.
The president of the COV specified that the update will be mandatory both for those who enter for the first time and for professionals already registered, as part of the migration process to the new system.
“Both new entrants and already registered professionals must complete the mandatory update to migrate to the new digital ecosystem,” he pointed out.
System requires clear documents
Regarding the requirements, he explained that “the system requires documents digitized in high resolution. Blurred or amended documents will be rejected to preserve the integrity of the file,” he explained.
Once registration is completed, the validation process will take an estimated four to five business days. The system also incorporates the renewal of cards, the issuance of certificates and the management of payments in bolivars, which, according to the directive, seeks to concentrate the main administrative services of the union in a single space.
Regarding the requirements related to the SACS, Quintero clarified that the system includes different formats of documentary support. “Both recent digital records and screenshots of the ministerial record or photographs of historical stamps on titles from previous decades will be accepted.”
“Our commitment is to the professional. This system has been designed to be intuitive and accessible from any PC or laptop, providing the convenience of managing your career from your office or home,” he concluded.
In turn, the School reported that it will maintain permanent monitoring of the platform to address incidents and accompany members during the adaptation process to the new digital scheme.
