Meda reported that the group was in the house for several hours and then they hung two signs on the door that say “Seized” and “Seized.”
Magalli Meda, coordinator of Vente Venezuela, denounced the raid, closure and seizure of her home in Caracas by a group of 16 armed men and civilians who were inside her home for hours.
“Last night, #Feb19, while they were approving the so-called Amnesty Law, the regime ordered 16 armed men and civilians, who arrived in 6 vans, to enter our house in Caracas again to destroy and take or plant whatever they want,” he wrote in his account on X.
He reported that the group was in the house for several hours and then they hung two signs on the door that say “Secured” and “Seized.”

Meda, who is outside the country, assured that the message is clear: “here there will be no amnesty, no freedom, no property, no prosperity, no right to confront criminals as long as they pretend to administer the ‘law’ and ‘forgiveness’.”
What kind of amnesty is this? For whom and under what conditions?
👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 In this thread I describe what they have done against me and my family, and against all Venezuelans.

María Corina Machado’s campaign manager and right-hand woman expressed that any Venezuelan can be a victim of these actions. «This is what will happen or will happen again, to anyone who does not obey them, be they soldiers, police, workers, businessmen, politicians, journalists, priests, or whoever…».
He recalled that on May 8, 2025, his house was also raided in an operation led by General Jesús Rafael Ferreira with more than 13 “armed men and civilians who took boxes” with his belongings and caused damage to the house.
The next day – he continued – they did the same thing at his mother’s residence. «They raided his house, stole his car, his memories, what my parents built with years of honest work. After dismantling it, they closed it. “No one can enter.”
*Journalism in Venezuela is carried out in a hostile environment for the press with dozens of legal instruments in place to punish the word, especially the laws “against hate”, “against fascism” and “against the blockade.” This content was written taking into consideration the threats and limits that, consequently, have been imposed on the dissemination of information from within the country.
