The open-air museum was the setting chosen for the new production that promises global impact.

Shakira and Beéle surprised Barranquilla again with the recording of their next music video, a collaboration that promises to become one of the most talked about releases of the year. In the early hours of this Thursday, February 19, both artists took over one of the most representative cultural locations in the city: the Open Sky Museum in the Abajo neighborhood, where the murals and colors of the sector served as the main stage.
The recordings began when the city was still sleeping, around 2:00 am, at which time the production team deployed cameras, lights and technical personnel to transform the traditional streets of the neighborhood into a movie set. Despite the hour, several neighbors crept up to capture some moments of the Barranquilla artist and the young Barranquilla singer Beéle, who is also one of the country’s rising urban voices.
This collaboration marks an important point for both artists. For Shakira, it is a new approach to her roots and a gesture of affection towards the city where she was born, reaffirming her connection with Caribbean culture. For Beéle, it represents another international boost by sharing the stage with a global figure who has transcended generations and borders.
The first leaked images show a vibrant staging, with choreographed dances and a visual style that mixes the urban aesthetics of Barranquilla with modern elements of Latin pop. The murals of the Abajo neighborhood, with their intense colors and tributes to local tradition, played a leading role in the setting of the video clip.

According to sources close to the production, the video will include several locations in the city, some of which were already used the previous night, when Shakira secretly recorded in sectors such as the Malecón, the Crystal Pavilion and Puerta de Oro. This second day, however, inevitably ended up being public, due to the natural visibility of the Open Sky Museum.
Although the release date is not yet known, expectation continues to grow on social networks, where clips recorded by neighbors went viral in a matter of minutes. With this collaboration, Barranquilla once again positions itself as a cultural stage of international stature, while the union between Shakira and Beéle is emerging as one of the most anticipated premieres of 2026.
