Peace Program receives contributions from tenant and peasant movements

The Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence holds a meeting with representatives of tenant, peasant and worker movements from different states of the country, who present their contributions to advance towards national reconciliation.

The meeting is held in the reading room of the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (Celarg) and has the participation of the general coordinator of the program, Ernesto Villegas, and the general secretary, Ana María San Juan —both appointed by the president (e) Delcy Rodríguez—, who listen to the proposals of those present.

This day is part of the 100-day work agenda stipulated by the national government, whose objective is to consolidate the stability and harmony of the country. Through these exchange spaces, we seek to hear proposals, experiences and knowledge in the political, social and economic spheres.

It should be noted that, after the approval and promulgation of the Amnesty Law, the president in charge asked the Parliamentary Monitoring Commission, the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace, and the president of the Commission for the Judicial Revolution, Diosdado Cabello, to review as quickly as possible the cases that are not contemplated in said legal instrument.
