Santo Domingo.- The Association of Dominican Prosecutors (PROSECUTOR) appreciated and supports the announcement of the retirement plan and improvement in the health insurance of the representatives of the Public Ministry, the measures announced by the Attorney General of the Republic, Yenni Berenice.
The general coordinator of the entity, magistrate Andrés Comas Abreu, expressed that justice was done by recognizing the ethical and transparent work of colleagues who have dedicated an essential part of their lives to public service, in some cases, up to four decades.
He valued the recognition made by the Superior Council of the Public Ministry to the prosecutors who have contributed to the consolidation of a true justice system, typical of a social and democratic State of law.

He also thanked the members of the Council, magistrates Isis Duarte, José del Carmen Sepúlveda, Denny Silvestre and Merlín Mateo, who honored ten members of the Public Ministry during a meeting held in the Eduardo Brito Room of the National Theater.
Comas Abreu stated that “it was a great honor for the entire Public Ministry to witness the well-deserved recognition granted to magistrates Jesús María Fernández Vélez, Ramón Mejía, Félix Castillo Nolasco, Gisela Altagracia Cueto González, Rita María Dolores Durán Imbert, Luisa Marmolejos, Sonia Varga Tejada, Ana María Luisa Burgos Crisóstomo, Casilda Alida Báez and Adolfo Martínez.
Among the measures announced, the Attorney General mentioned the implementation of more complete health insurance, the final stage of design and early entry, with the aim of guaranteeing stability and recognition to those who have dedicated their lives to the service of justice.
