He Savings and Credit Bank (Adopem) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) signed a memorandum of understanding with the objective of strengthening financial inclusion, productive development and the capacities of populations in vulnerable situations in the Dominican Republic.
The agreement establishes a cooperation framework that will allow the technical capabilities of the UNDP to be articulated—including its network of experts, methodologies and tools linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), MSMEs and entrepreneurship—with Adopem’s experience in the provision of financial and non-financial services adapted to the needs of traditionally excluded sectors.
