The Public Ministry announced that it appointed Prosecutor No. 1 in matters of common crimes to investigate the events that occurred in the Cinta Costera, in the state of La Guaira.
The entity indicated, through its Instagram account, that there were several citizens in the aforementioned place who attacked each other in a “wild manner”, disturbing public order and creating anxiety in the area.
This event, which occurred during the Carnival holiday, was viralized through several videos on social networks, for which it will be investigated by the entity’s Prosecutor’s Office.
It should be noted that this type of behavior has generated strong criticism and annoyance among users, who have also expressed their disagreement with disorders and damage to the marine ecosystem that occurred in the keys of the Morrocoy National Park, as well as what happened on Paseo Los Próceres, where the presence of the police forces prevented them from continuing to disturb the tranquility of those who were enjoying healthy recreation in this emblematic place in Caracas.
