The National Ballet of Cuba, under the direction of Viengsay Valdés, will present the classic Giselle this Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22, at 5:00 pm, in the Avellaneda Room of the National Theater of Cuba.
On Saturday the 21st, Viengsay Valdés and Dani Hernández will play the leading roles of Giselle and Albrecht, accompanied by Yunior Palma as Hilarión and Ana Pessino as the Queen of the Wilis.
On Sunday the 22nd, Alianed Moreno will take on the role of Giselle alongside Yankiel Vázquez as Albrecht, while Alejandro Alderete will debut as Hilarión and Nadila Estrada as the Queen of the Wilis.
Giselle, emblem of the company’s romantic repertoire, it has choreography by Alicia Alonso based on the original by Jules Perrot and Jean Coralli, music by Adolphe Adam and designs by Salvador Fernández. Tickets will be on sale at the theater box office starting Tuesday the 17th, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm
