Municipality of Huancayo suspends administrative work on the 18th and 19th due to regional strike

The Provincial Municipality of Huancayo informed the citizens that the days February 18 and 19 Work and attention to the public will be suspended in the administrative areas of the entity, both in the Municipal Palace and in all its decentralized headquarters.

According to the official statement, the measure is adopted in order to guarantee the safety and physical integrity of municipal personnel and in institutional support for the regional strike called by the Multisectorial Commission in defense of the New Central Highway project, considered a strategic infrastructure for the economic, social and territorial development of the province of Huancayo.

However, the commune specified that essential public services, such as Public Cleaning and Serenazgo, will continue to operate normally to ensure the continuity of the basic functions of the local government and not affect the population.

Likewise, the suspension of administrative deadlines was ordered during the indicated dates, in accordance with current regulations on administrative procedures.
