Pedernales received more resources in investment projects than the main provinces of the country combined, except Santo Domingo, such as Santiago, Duarte, La Vega, Distrito Nacional and San Cristóbal.
In the province of Santo Domingo, RD$898.4 million were executed, in the National District, RD$430 million, in Santiago, RD$25.1 million and in Duarte, RD$282.7 million. These are the four most important districts of the country.
