The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) held a working meeting with the Minister of Economy and Finance, Denisse Miralles, as well as with congressmen Waldemar Cerrón and Silvana Robles, as well as parliamentary representatives of the Junín region, in order to evaluate technical and financial improvements that guarantee the development of the New Central Highway.
The head of the sector, Aldo Prieto, assured that at no time has the paralysis of the project been considered, reaffirming the Executive’s commitment to its continuity. He noted that work is being done to optimize the technical and financial conditions of this strategic work.
The authorities agreed to strengthen the sustainability and efficiency of the project, key to connectivity, trade and productive development of the country. The MTC reiterated its willingness to dialogue and articulate work to promote economic growth and improve the quality of life of the population.
