Cusco will become the world beverage capital with the realization of International Competition of the Andesconsidered the most important technical and sensory summit of beverages in Latin America. The event will take place from February 24 to March 1, 2026consolidating the Imperial City as a key point for innovation, evaluation and projection of the beverage industry on the continent.
The contest will bring together producers from more than 15 countrieswho will compete in eight categories: beer, mead, cider, kombucha, chicha, wine, spirits and spiritsin a competition designed to reward the technical, sensory and productive excellence.
One of the main attractions of this edition will be its historical evaluation panelmade up of more than 50 international judges and ambassadors with great experiencecoming from countries like Belgium, Germany, United States, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguayamong others.
The central objective of the International Contest of the Andes is strengthen the micro and small beverage industryproviding producers with world-class technical feedback and a quality seal endorsed by certified experts from various countries.
The organization highlighted that this space not only seeks to reward products, but also boost business growthpromote the exchange of knowledge and position Cusco as an international hub for sensory evaluation and development of high-quality beverages.
With this new edition, the contest reaffirms its role as a key event for the Latin American beverage industryconnecting tradition, innovation and international standards in one of the most emblematic cities of Peru.
