Digital and field investigations carried out by officials of the Cicpc-Maracaibo Delegation allowed the location and arrest of Alexander José Torres Castillo (34) and Aníbal Elías Linares (48), in the capital of Zulia, for cooperating with criminal organizations dedicated to hacking bank accounts.
This information was aired on the Instagram account of the scientific police from where they point out that telephone and digital analyzes and technical-scientific work made it possible to determine that the aforementioned subjects were in charge of receiving instructions from antisocials dedicated to violating the bank accounts of their victims, through fictitious images and phishing.
Upon obtaining the money from the hack, the criminals proceeded to transfer it to third-party bank accounts. The leaders of the group contact Alexander and Aníbal, so that they can access the users of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat) and change the data (addresses, emails and telephone numbers) of these people, in order to avoid being tracked.
