The state of La Guaira registers a beach occupancy of more than 97% during the first days of the Carnival season of this 2026. This was reported by the governor of the coastal entityJosé Alejandro Terán.
According to what was stated by the local ruler, during this year’s season a large number of visitors are registered in the entity. “We have 97.5% occupancy of all the awnings on the 66 beaches, spas and rivers”he detailed.
Tourists visit La Guaira during Carnival
In this sense, Teran He specified that there is also a high number of accommodations in the entity. “They report 85% hotel occupancy”said.
In La Guaira it promotes tourism during the holiday seasons. For this year’s Carnival, authorities confirmed that 64 suitable beaches were enabled in the state.
“Of course, tourism is once again reactivated as an engine of the economy in the state of La Guaira,” he expressed.
At the same time, the governor highlighted that 70,000 Guaireños depend directly on what the local economy provides.
