2-1: Ángel Correa cannot avoid the defeat of Tigres

Blue Crossone of the most popular clubs in Mexican soccer, recorded its fifth consecutive match without defeat on Sunday after winning 2-1 against UANL Tigers on the sixth day of the Clausura tournament. On Saturday, Guadalajara beat América 1-0 in the “national classic” that pitted the two most popular clubs in Mexican soccer against each other. With their sixth victory, the “Chivas” of Guadalajara consolidated themselves as undefeated leaders of the tournament with 18 points.

Atlético San Luis thrashes Querétaro

In the other games on Saturday, Atlético de San Luis beat Querétaro 3-0, Pachuca beat Atlas 3-1, Monterrey defeated León 1-0 and Necaxa won 2-1 on its visit to Bravos de Ciudad Juárez. On Friday, champion Toluca defeated Tijuana 1-0, while Pumas UNAM came back from two goals down and won 3-2 as a visitor against Puebla.
