The match was broadcast live on TV Brasilin partnership with TV Cultura do Pará.

Leão Azul, which was already classified in the quarter-finals, was in fifth place, with the same ten points as Capitão Poço, Paysandu and Águia de Marabá, but behind for having one less victory.

In the final phase, the team led by Juan Carlos Osório will face Águia, fourth place. Muiraquitã – as Amazônia is known – went to seven points and avoided relegation, in tenth place.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 11th minute, with a penalty converted by midfielder Juninho. Remo, who took to the field with an almost entirely reserve team (only midfielder Yago Pikachu was in the starting lineup), pressed hard in search of a draw, but were only rewarded in the final moments. In the 44th minute of the final stage, midfielder Pavani equalized, with a header, at Baenão.

Remo’s archrival, Paysandu defeated Santa Rosa at Ipixunão, in Ipixuna (PA), 2-0. Striker Ítalo Carvalho and midfielder Marcinho scored for Papão da Curuzu. According to the tiebreaker criteria, the bicolor team took third place and will have the classic with Tuna Luso, sixth place with nine points, in the quarterfinals.

In other games this Saturday, Águia beat Cametá 1-0 at Estádio Zinho de Oliveira, in Marabá (PA). Despite the defeat, the visitors secured first place and will face Santa Rosa, eighth place with seven points, in the final phase. Captain Poço, second, hosted Castanhal, seventh, at Rufinão, and won 2-0. The two teams will meet again in the quarterfinals.

In the Santarém (PA) derby, which had not occurred in the first division for seven years, the goalless draw at Panterão saved São Raimundo – which was six points behind, in ninth place – and decreed the relegation of rival São Francisco, who finished the State Championship with the same five points as Bragantino-PA, another one that fell. In farewell to the elite, the club from Bragança (PA) defeated Tuna Luso 2-0 at Estrelão, in Augusto Corrêa (PA).

Ceará close to the final

In the Cearense Championship, Ceará took a big step towards the final by beating Floresta 3-0 at the Estádio Presidente Vargas, in Fortaleza, in the first game of the semifinal clash. Full-back Rafael Ramos and midfielders Vina and Mateusinho scored for Vozão.

Alvinegro will qualify for the final even if they lose by two goals in the return match, scheduled for next Sunday (22), at 6pm (Brasília time). The location of the duel has not yet been defined.
