TV Brasil airs, this Sunday, the game between Santa Rosa and Paysandu

This Sunday (15), the TV Brasil broadcasts, from 3:10 pm, the match between Santa Rosa and Paysandu for the sixth round of the 2026 Paraense Championship. The confrontation will be aired throughout the country with a signal generated by the broadcaster TV Cultura do Parápartner of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP). Santa Rosa and Paysandu occupy the last two places in the G-8. The teams enter the field for the last round needing to win to advance to the knockout stages. The decisive duel takes place at 3:30 pm, at the Ipixunão Stadium, in Ipixuna do Pará.

Paraense Championship

The championship is made up of 12 teams divided into two groups, where teams from one group face those from the other in a single round, on a points system. The classification is counted in a general table, from which the best eight advance to the next phase, while the last two are relegated. If there is a tie in the score during this stage, the tiebreaker follows the order of most wins, goal difference, goals scored, fewest red cards, fewest yellow cards and, finally, draw.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals are decided in single games, with a penalty shootout in case of a draw in normal time. The final is the only stage played in round-trip matches, where the title is defined by the goal difference in the two clashes or, if necessary, by maximum penalties.

The teams Remo, Paysandu, Tuna Luso, Águia de Marabá, Bragantino-PA, Cametá, Capitão Poço, Castanhal, Santa Rosa, São Francisco-PA, São Raimundo-PA and Amazônia Independente participate in the 2026 edition of the Paraense Championship.

In addition to the Paraense Championship, the TV Brasilpublic broadcaster of Brazilian Communication Company (EBC)also shows games from three other state football championships. The matches for the Baiano, Capixaba, Cearense and Paraense Championships are confirmed in the schedule.

At the same time, fulfilling its mission to give visibility to women’s sport, the broadcaster also shows the games from Series A1 of the Brazilian Women’s Championship for the third consecutive year.

In the case of the state championships, broadcasts on the small screen throughout the country will be generated from partner broadcasters that are part of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP). Coverage of matches in the stadiums, narration and comments will be carried out by teams from the state channels: TVE Bahia, TV Cultura do Pará, TVE Espírito Santo and TV Ceará.
