The program’s strategy is not limited to the analysis of cold documents; This is a contrast exercise in real time. “We want to review what the verse says, but let’s see how it contrasts with reality, what the information says, what the evidence says,” highlighted the former minister.
Thus, in a context where public finances are under pressure, the program seeks to show evidence so that citizens can detect when they are being deceived with nice phrases that have no budgetary support.
For his part, Carlo Reyes, general manager of Ronin and director of Dato mata narration, highlighted that the great challenge is communication translation. In an era of automation and artificial intelligence, added value lies in processing high-value data so that it is useful in decision making.
“A rigorous piece of information, well collated, can ruin any poetry that often tends to be, rather, a way to cajole you,” said Reyes. He added that the goal is to prevent the “firework of scandals” from generating a distraction from crucial issues such as health, retirement and macroeconomic stability.
For Perú21, this effort aligns with its purpose of reporting with the truth and telling everything, while for Ronin it represents the opportunity to intercept public management with responsible corporate communication.
The dynamics of the program will be agile and will initially focus on the candidates with the greatest prominence in the polls, analyzing not only what is written, but also what politicians declare on the streets.
The analysis will avoid judging ideologies to focus on programmatic coherence. Tuesta warns about the common contradictions that the program will expose: “They express respect for the Constitution and then you find a proposal that implies going against the economic chapter.”
