Santiago.- The highest organizations of the ruling party Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and its militancy at the national level have been called to celebrate this Sunday, in the city of Santiago, the eleventh anniversary of the founding of said political organization.
This was reiterated in a press conference by the governor Rosa Santos and the engineer Andrés Cueto, presidents of the provincial and municipal committees of the ruling party, respectively.

They reported that the activity will begin at nine in the morning at the Gran Arena del Cibao, a venue whose capacity exceeds eight thousand people and that usually hosts sporting, educational, recreational and artistic events.
Andrés Cueto stated that the Perremeíst festival this Sunday represents a significant date for the country’s democracy.
“The PRM is not just a party; it is a vision of a nation that continues to advance with giant steps,” he stressed.
For her part, Rosa Santos highlighted that the celebration constitutes a popular festival that involves not only officials and leaders, but the entire base of the political group.
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and Vice President Raquel Peña, as well as legislators, mayors, district directors and representatives of the PRM’s grassroots organizations, are expected to attend the event.
The PRM emerged in the Dominican Republic after a division of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD). It should be noted that the organization has managed to establish itself as the main political force in the country in just over a decade.
Among its historical and founding figures, the engineer Ramón Alburquerque, who was president of the Senate of the Republic, is remembered.
The police authorities have taken the appropriate measures to avoid incidents in the vicinity of the Gran Arena del Cibao, a few meters from the Cibao Stadium, home of the Águilas Cibaeñas.
