Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader expressed his deep regret this Friday for the death of Emmanuel Castillo, prominent sociologist and director of the newspaper La Informaciónbased in Santiago de los Caballeros.
“It is with great sadness that I receive the news of the death of Emmanuel Castilloa prominent sociologist and director of the Santiago newspaper La Información,” said the president.
- The head of state highlighted that the Castillo’s commitment with social thought and the exercise of responsible journalism constitutes a legacy that the country will always remember.
Likewise, the president Abinader expressed his solidarity with the family membersfriends and collaborators of the renowned media.
“I accompany in prayer to his family, friends and the entire La Información community. Peace to his soul,” he concluded.
