THE TV Brasil broadcasts, this Saturday (14), the emotions of the confrontation between Bahia and Jacuipense valid for the eighth round of the Bahia Championship. The game is broadcast using a signal generated by the partner broadcaster, TVE Bahia, which is part of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
The teams enter the field at 4pm, at Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador (BA), but the broadcaster starts its broadcast at 3:45pm with a special pre-game.
With a place practically guaranteed in the second phase, Esquadrão de Aço, the leader, meets the table against seventh place, Jacuipense, who needs victory to qualify.
About the Bahia Championship
The 2026 edition of the Campeonato Baiano has undergone changes compared to previous years. Starting on January 10th and expected to end on March 8th, the competition will be held in parallel to the Brazilian Championship and will feature a reduction in dates, going from 13 to 11 games.
The first phase will have nine rounds, with the four best teams qualifying for the semi-finals, which, like the final, will be played in a single game.
Ten clubs participate in the 2026 Baiano Championship: Bahia, Vitória, Atlético de Alagoinhas, Jacuipense, Porto, Juazeirense, Jequié, Barcelona de Ilhéus, Bahia de Feira and Galícia.

In these clashes, coverage, narration and comments will be carried out by teams from channels in the four states: TVE Bahia, TVE Espírito Santo, TV Ceará and TV Cultura do Pará.
