The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported the location and destruction of a laboratory for the processing of illicit drugs in the state of Zullia.
“In patrol and surveillance missions in the Jesús Maria Semprúm municipality, through intelligence work at (…) coordinates 8º55’53.59”N – 72º43’21.92”W, the Fanb using a Mixed Combat Urra located and destroyed a laboratory used for the processing of narcotic substances by Tancol irregular groups,” the official wrote on his Telegram channel.
Hernández Lárez explained that this procedure was carried out within the framework of Operation Catatumbo Lightning 01-26 “Binational Peace Operation”, in REDI No. 1 Occidental in the state of Zulia, as part of the fight against drug trafficking that is carried out in the country.
