Edesur Dominicana reported the cancellation of a member of a contractor brigade captured on video while stealing the wiring that supplies electricity to a commercial establishment in the El Vergel sector of the National District.
He stated that as soon as he received the complaint, an investigation was initiated to determine the reality of what happened and take appropriate corrective measures.
The images and videos analyzed made it possible to identify the intervention of a technician belonging to a contractor brigade who, on that date, was carrying out reconnection work in the area.
Edesur reiterated that it does not tolerate conduct contrary to ethics, legality or the principles that govern the provision of public electricity service. Edesur does not mention the name of the thief.
