The Ministry of Labor executes the Support Program for the Flexible Employment System RD-Trabaja, an initiative financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), aimed at improving the job placement of young people and adults through training, professional practices and training in companies, with emphasis on formal employment and inclusion social.
How to pay and how much is it equivalent?
The program finances companies participants. In the Training for Labor Insertion (EIL) modality, RD-Trabaja covers the minimum wage of the corresponding sector during three months for each participant.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Laborthis modality focuses on practical training directly in companies that have active vacancieswhich assume the role of training providers during a period of three months.
During this time, the company hires the person as employee and designate a person who train and supervise the beneficiaries in the content of the position and in soft skills.

The program is aimed primarily at young people aged 18 to 35, as well as adults aged 35 or older, prioritizing those who have little or no work experience and reside in areas with high levels of socioeconomic vulnerability and unemployment.
Company commitments: hire 50% and supervision
Companies that participate in RD-Trabaja must meet several commitments, including training 100% by three months and hire at least 50% of the participants by three months additional.
Other commitments of the companies are: having active vacanciesbelong to any economic sectordesignate a specific supervisor for the program, preparation of monthly report to justify the payment each month.

The program prioritizes the participation of companies from sectors productive of high potentialfastest-growing occupations, as well as initiatives linked to environmental sustainability, with the aim of strengthening economic development and the formalization of the labor market.
It also has a focus on strengthening the job placement of women mothers and people with disabilities.

RD-Trabaja incorporates a focus on inclusiongiving priority to job placement of people with disabilitiesnext to women mothers and other groups traditionally excluded from the labor market.
