Officials of the Bolivarian National Police arrested a subject accused of sexually abusing a minor in the Libertador municipality of Aragua state.
According to official sources, the arrested person was identified as Jeyder Jesús Giménez Guerrero, 21 years old.
The police procedure took place inside house number 319 on 13 de Septiembre Street, sector 1 of the Los Hornos neighborhood.
It was learned that agents of the aforementioned institution, assigned to the Libertador Municipal Police Station, attended to a citizen who filed a complaint against the prisoner.
The woman accused Giménez Guerrero of sexual abuse against her minor daughter.
Given the seriousness of the crime, a commission was formed that went to the suspect’s home.
Upon arrival, officials intercepted Giménez Guerrero and detained him. They took him to the police station to carry out the corresponding inquiries.
The agents seized a black shoulder bag, two homemade menthol gels and a Samsung cell phone as evidence.
The case was handled by the 16th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of Aragua state.
