Air Europa and Laser will resume flights to Venezuela in the coming days

The airlines Air Europa, Plus Ultra and Laser announced that they will gradually resume their flights to Venezuela in the coming dayswhile Iberia is still waiting to resume its frequencies at the beginning of Aprilas long as they exist full guarantees.

The Spanish Air Europawhich has five weekly frequencies between Madrid and Caracas, will operate again from the 17thone day before the Venezuelan Laserwhile the also Spanish Plus Ultra will resume its regular flights from March 3.

Plus Ultra will initially operate two direct weekly frequenciesthe Tuesday and Thursdayand Starting on March 28, it will incorporate a third Madrid-Caracas frequency and the weekly Tenerife-Caracas flight.thus reinforcing the connectivity between both markets.

For its part, Air Europa reported that it has begun the “gradual reactivation of operations to and from Venezuela”although he clarified that Flights scheduled for February 19 and 21 remain canceled.

Laser will resume operations between Madrid and Caracas starting February 18while It is still unknown when the Estelar airline will operate again.

Until November, Iberia and Air Europa had five weekly frequencies each between Madrid and Caracas; Plus Ultra had fourone of them from Tenerifewhile Laser operated four other frequencies and Stellar maintained three connections.

The president of Avavit, Vicky Herrerahe announced that between February and March at least six airlines will resume flights to Venezuelaamong them Plus Ultra.

The other airlines are TAP, Turkish Airlines, Latam, Avianca and GOL.

In fact, Latam announced that it will resume its flights between Bogotá and Caracas starting February 23with four weekly frequenciesafter having suspended them in November.

Wingo resumed its Bogotá-Caracas flights on January 16 and From March 1, the Medellín-Caracas route will resumewhile Avianca will restart its daily operation between Bogotá and Caracas.
