“It could be liquidity that is not daily but over a longer term and in this way we will grow the family so that our clients can become more sophisticated little by little,” said Hernández.
Launching this product will begin to be useful, initially, for 8% of your customers. Hernández highlighted that between 7 and 8% of the more than 23 million clients they have have saved between 25,000 and 30,000 pesos, that is, they are people who have a considerable amount of money, but do not receive an additional benefit.
“They are clients who trusted us to take the money they kept under the mattress and put it in a bank,” he said. “That was the first step, that is, they didn’t want to make money, they weren’t thinking about interest.”
