Somos Perú militants accessed positions in the State without experience

More than a dozen militants and associates of Somos Perú would have agreed to service orders in the Ministry of Women without going through meritocratic processes or having previous experience in the public sector, as revealed by Cuarto Poder.

The revelations arise after recent questions to the President of the Republic, José Jería member of Somos Perú, after learning that young women who met with him at the Government Palace had subsequently obtained jobs in the state apparatus.

On this occasion, those involved are known within the party as the ‘political children’ of Patricia Li, president of the party. Photographs, publications on social networks and party records show a direct relationship between the leader and those who benefit from state contracts.

One of the most striking cases is that of Jean Paul Sosa Luispe, who obtained a service order as an administrative assistant in December 2025. According to official records, at the time of his hiring he did not have a National Registry of Suppliers or a professional title registered in Sunedu, key requirements to provide services to the State.

Similar situations are repeated with Carlos Huamán, Laris Medina and Luis Antonio Calderón, who also received contracts shortly after regularizing their documentation or without proving previous experience.

Asked about the report, Patricia Li denied having influenced the hiring and stated: “I have a campaign command. Do you know how many warriors I have? Thirty thousand warriors nationwide, don’t ask me about four.”

Furthermore, he said: “If you ask me about Somos Perú, ask how many parties the other ministries have,” defending the presence of his group in the Executive.
