Tacna: Reckless driver causes tremendous crash by turning in a “U”

Two people were injured in a violent traffic accident on the highway from Tacna to Valle Viejo. The white Toyota Hilux truck with license plate Z7K-853 and the white Bluebird car with license plate Z5X-017 collided.

Driver recklessness

The accident occurred at 8:10 a.m. at kilometer 13 of the Tacna – Calana – Pachía highway, in front of the Villa Hijos de Calana association.

According to the driver of the Toyota Hilux truck, Josué Arnold Ayna Zavala (24), he was driving when he saw the car ahead that was parking on the shoulder of the uphill lane when it turned unexpectedly to make a “U” turn. It was under these circumstances that the truck collided with the car and ended up overturned on its left side.

Injured taken to emergency

Police personnel arrived at the scene and summoned the emergency units of the fire company and the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAMU).

Ángela Zavala Guillermo, occupant of the first vehicle, was taken to the emergency room at the Daniel Alcides Carrión de Essalud hospital in Calana where she was diagnosed with multiple contusions due to a traffic accident. Serenazgo evacuated Mario Ayna Estrella, also a passenger in the first vehicle, who had a blunt cut wound with a flap in his left pavilion and suffered multiple contusions from a traffic accident.

Both units were transported by a crane to the police station to continue the investigation and the prosecutor Abrahan Coronel Apaza, magistrate of the Eighth Preparatory Investigation Office of Tacna, was contacted.
