Explosive device detonated at event venue in Trujillo (VIDEO)

Wave of terror once again set off the alarms in Trujillo. On this occasion, criminals reached the exterior of the “La Hacienda del Lobo” event venue, located on block 12 of Santa Avenue, in the El Molino urbanization, and detonated a powerful explosive charge that destroyed the metal door.

The case

The attack occurred at around 12:15 midnight this Monday when unknown individuals arrived on a motorcycle. According to the video surveillance cameras, it appears that one of the thugs gets out of the vehicle better. Then, he runs and leaves the explosive devices in the building to leave with his accomplice in an unknown direction. After a few seconds, a loud explosion was heard that also blew the glass out of the second-level window. In addition, the shock waves reached neighboring homes that ended up with broken glass in the windows and doors.

Likewise, a car that was parked in front of a chifa ended up with a broken windshield and part of the bodywork damaged.

Agents from the National Police arrived at the establishment to be in charge of the investigations. The members of the Explosives Deactivation Unit (Udex) also arrived to collect some evidence and determine the type of device that the criminals would have used.

Meanwhile, scared neighbors left their properties and demanded greater security since they cannot sleep peacefully due to the wave of insecurity that hits the city.
