The journalistic investigation exposes contracts, buildings and businesses that allowed the businessman to consolidate an important patrimony, while he held meetings with the head of state outside of Government Palace.
According to the report, Zhihua Yang He appears as a representative of the company Construcciones Capón SAC, with which he accredited to the State his economic capacity as a builder. This information was presented mainly to the National Training Service for the Construction Industry (Sencico), an entity linked to the Housing sector.

The report also details that the Chinese businessman avoids appearing as a direct owner of real estate. He does not register homes in his name and maintains a reserved profile. However, Panorama managed to locate a high-value residence in an exclusive area of Lima, where neighbors and security personnel confirmed that Zhihua Yang He has been living for several years.
In addition to the accumulated assets, the businessman’s name came under scrutiny for the meetings he held with José Jerítoday president of the republicoutside the official headquarters of the Executive. The Prosecutor’s Office maintains an open investigation for alleged bribery, while the businessman must go to Congress to answer for these meetings and for the origin of his fortune.

Zhihua Yang’s million-dollar works and other businesses
Records reviewed by Panorama show that Zhihua Yang invoiced more than S/ 20 million in various construction works carried out in districts with high real estate valuation. These include commercial buildings, restaurants and business centers in Magdalena, San Borja, La Molina and Surquillo.
One of the most expensive works corresponds to the construction of a restaurant and offices in Magdalena, valued at more than S/ 3 million. Added to this are buildings in San Borja for around S/ 2.9 million, as well as a five-story building in La Molina for more than S/ 1 million. The list of projects includes other properties that, together, exceed S/ 20 million declared.

The report also reveals that the Chinese businessman maintained businesses parallel to construction. For several years, Zhihua Yang He was director of Sany Perú SAC, a company linked to the commercialization of heavy machinery of Chinese origin. This firm would have had commercial relations with large Chinese construction companies that carried out infrastructure projects in the country.
Testimonies collected by Panorama from former directors and former collaborators of Sany Perú indicate that the company sold equipment to Chinese construction companies between 2021 and 2022. The meetings with representatives of these companies, according to the stories, took place outside the offices. The investigation also indicates that the residence where he lives Zhihua Yang It was built by his own company, Construcciones Capón, with an investment of more than S/ 3 million, on a closed street with restricted access.
