Police advance investigations into the assault on a jewelry store in San Pedro de Macorís

San Pedro de Macorís. Police officers assigned to the Southeast Regional Subdirectorate of Investigations (DICRIM) together with the Preventive Police of the Southeast regional, took over this Sunday the investigations and investigations of the location around the assault perpetrated in the morning hours at the Máximo Oro 14K Jewelry Storelocated on Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deño Avenue, in the Villa Velázquez sector of this city.

According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred at approximately 9:00 in the morning, when individuals in the process of identification broke into the commercial establishment and stole an as yet undetermined amount of belongings and cash. So far no injuries have been reported.

Technicians from the Scientific Police arrived at the scene, who carried out the corresponding expert surveys, including the collection of physical evidence and the analysis of the security cameras installed on the premises and in its surroundings.

These proceedings are part of the investigative actions to clarify this case.

The National Police reaffirms its commitment to citizen security and to the rigorous investigation of crimes against property, in coordination with the Public Ministry, in order to identify, capture and bring to justice those responsible for this assault.
