Organized workers from around the world expressed their support for the Venezuelan people and demanded the freedom of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, as well as respect for national sovereignty.
During a virtual event with unions from more than 40 countries, which took place yesterday, socialist leaders analyzed the current situation in the country.
In this sense, the Minister of the Social Labor Process, Eduardo Piñate, thanked the expressions of solidarity that are received daily from different parts of the world.
“On behalf of workers from all over the world these are samples, which have been from the first moment.”
Likewise, deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra highlighted popular participation in this process.
“We are in the street listening to the people, in the Metro, in public transportation.”
Likewise, the president of the Bolivarian Socialist Workers’ Central, Wills Rangel, highlighted the importance of popular mobilization in the face of imperial aggression.
“It has been very hard because he is one of us, we have remained mobilized, in contact with the bases,” he commented.
For his part, the president of Sitrameca, Edison Alvarado, highlighted what this figure represents for the union sector.
“Because it is the union where our brother president Nicolás Maduro Moros was born.”
Likewise, the Secretary of International Affairs of the Psuv, Tania Díaz, warned about the media war.
“We are being subjects, not to say victims, of a merciless national and international bombardment to raise doubts, to sow intrigues and try to take credit away from the comrades who are at the forefront of the Revolution, but above all from those who hold the reins of the government at this moment.”
He expressed his solidarity with President Delcy Rodríguez; with the Minister of Justice, Diosdado Cabello, and the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez.
He warned that there is an attempt to detract from the heroic action of the Fanb soldiers who defended the Homeland.
